What the labels on a listing mean

A FindPropertyPH moderator has checked the PRC licence number that the agent or broker gave us against the PRC's records. The listing and the professional's page then show ✓ PRC licence verified by FindPropertyPH.

Verification confirms the licence number matched PRC records when we checked. It is not an endorsement of the professional's services or prices.

The professional has not given us a licence number, or we have not checked it yet. Every professional listing without a verified licence says so.

This is not a finding that the professional is unlicensed. Ask for the licence number and check it yourself with the PRC before you rely on the professional.

Owners confirm, before they list, that they own the property or that the owner has authorised them in writing. Owner listings are labelled Listed by owner.

FindPropertyPH does not check land titles, tax declarations or other property documents. Ask for them yourself and have them checked by a professional you trust.

• Every listing is reviewed before it is published. A reviewer can send it back with a note asking the lister to fix something, or remove it.
• Editing a live listing sends it back to review, so changes are checked before buyers see them again.
• Photos have location data (EXIF and GPS) removed automatically when they are uploaded.

FindPropertyPH does not handle payments, deposits or reservations. Before you pay anyone, verify the property, its documents and the identity of the person you are dealing with. Never send money to someone you have not verified, and be cautious of anyone who asks for payment through an unusual channel.
